There is the diagram of Frenton in 1990 and 2012 shown in the question. The two maps are different and they illustrate how Frenton, a small town, had developed over the time periods. Over all, looking at the diagram, there is a High Street passing through the town from South to North in both maps. The town had school and public library, which made students had good literature and education. The school was situated at the north-west of the town and the library was beside opposing to the High Street. And the necessary building, hospital was in the center of the town. Furthermore, as the time had passed, some buildings and places had properly changed after 22 years. In 1990, Frenton was a small town with less housings. There was a housing estate at the east part of the town. I can see the theatre and café and park were opposed to hospital and library. Then, there were couples of small shops next to the theatre. Playing fields with trees and green forest were located on the left side of the street and the bank too. After 22 years, there was a considerable growth of the whole town. The housings and playing fields with trees had been converted into high blocks of flats and a small flat was extended at the north corner of the second map. The café and park got totally transformed into hotels and golf course, describing high living standard in 2012. The theatre had been upgraded to the cinema while the small shops were replaced by the huge supermarket. The public hospital was rebuilt to extend the building. Moreover, a restaurant occupied the space of bank in 1990 and then the green forest had developed to a techno park.
