It decreased markedly to 40% in 2005, which was the most significant fall among the five categories. The second biggest rate of household rubbish, and the percentage was 16%. It had increased slightly to 19% in 2005. “Other” occupied 14% of the household garbages in 1990, which is the third largest proportion. There was a moderate rise and the proportion of “Other” reached 16% in 2005. The lowest proportion of the household waste was metals at 7%, and the second smallest one was plastics at 10%. While metals had increased by 10%, plastics fell to 5% in 2005.
