The pie charts display how the water on the planet is distributed and the sources from which the fresh comes. The bar chart illustrates the share of the sectors where water is used in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Canada. Overall, salt water makes up the majority of the available water on Earth, and fresh water comes mostly from ice and glaciers. In both Egypt and Saudi Arabia, agriculture consumes most of the resources, whereas, in Canada, the main portion, is used in the industry. 97% of all water present is salt water, while just 3% is fresh. Glaciers and ice account for 79% of the supply of fresh water and the rest is provided by ground and surface water at 20% and 1% respectively.
