These two maps show changes and developments of Dubai in the past and present. It is obvious that Dubai changed dramatically. There has been a great deal of development in Dubai. In the past most of the land around the clock tower roundabout was sandy desert, but today a lot of stylish and modern buildings have been built in this location. in the past this location was not crowded and today the number of cars has been increased. Furthermore, there were some trees in the surrounding streets but now these have been replaced by modern buildings and apartments. Also, some pin trees have been planted. Only feature which completely the same is the clock tower in the middle of this square. Overall, therefore, this area has become developed significantly. This area has been populated and there is traffic around this square andtoday there is no desert around this area.
