The data showing the primary reasons for immigration and emigration in the year 2007 in the UK is depicted in the given pie charts. Overall, it is clear from the charts that the main reason for migration to and from the UK was for definite jobs. While looking at the immigration reasons, it was seen that more than one-fourth of the reasons were for definite jobs. The same rate was found for the same reason in case of emigration too(30% and 29% respectively). Around 15% of the reasons were for accompanying someone in case of immigration and 13% for emigration. All other reasons have various propotions in both cases. Immigration rates was high for fomal studies in UK and it contributed more than one-fourth of the total immigration (26%) while it was just 4% in emigration. Immigration was 12% in case of looking for work and at the same time it was 22% for emigration. Other reasons contributed 11% of the total reasons for immigration, while, for 6% no reason was stated. The same was 14%and 18% respectively for emigration cases.
