Overall, we can observe that the Action movie genre is the most outstanding in the number of Oscar winners than the others type of movies for 2003 and 2008. The number of winners in the Horror and the Action category medium decreased when compared 2003 with 2008. In contrast, the number of people who achieved the Oscar award in the genres Thriller, Documentary, Science Fiction increased in number between two different years. The most dramatic change of the share of Oscar achievement winners by movie genre was the Thriller type gained about 15%.
