Both Linda’s Rest and José’s Rest are restaurants, and yet they offer vastly different experiences to their customers. Comparing and contrasting the two restaurants based on their prices, their services, and their facilities show how different and similar the two are. Linda’s Rest and José’s Rest have three similarities. Linda’s Rest opens from 7 a. m. just as José’s Rest does. Linda’s Rest provides drive-in service, José’s Rest does also. Finally, both of them have clean bathrooms and parking spaces. Despite their similarities, they still have major differences. First, Linda’s Rest and José’s Rest sell the same dishes, but they bear no resemblances in prices. Linda’s Rest’s dishes are not as expensive as José’s Rest dishes: sandwiches at Linda’s Rest cost $4. 00 while José’s cost $4. 50. Another difference is their services. Linda’s Rest closes at 9 p. m. while José’s closes at 7 p. m. Moreover, Linda’s has home delivery services, three cashiers in rush hours yet José’s do not have home delivery services and there are two cashiers in rush hours. Furthermore, they have lots of dissimilarities in facilities. Linda’s has 12 tables / 48 chairs, 20 parking spaces, playground for kids and air conditioner. Unlike Linda’s Rest restaurant, José’s has 8 tables/32 chairs, 10 parking spaces, there are no playground for kids, and only ceiling fans.
