The following diagram drives from a bar chart which illustrates the percentage of people in owned and rented accommodation in London since 1918 to 2011. The general perspective finds that, Maximum number of people in London used to live on a rental basis in the early 90s period afterwards slowly people started moving to their own accommodation from the mid century. Looking at the details, 78% of people used to live on a rental basis from the year 1918 to 1939 which slightly got reduced after 20 years by 10%, However percentage of people living in the rental basis remained almost the same for the next 13 years and then a steady drop in the rental system from 50% to 30% from the period 1971 to 2001 can be easily seen in the chart. In a like manner to the previous points, while for percentage of people with their own accommodation has shown a gradual raise of 50% from the year 1918 to 2001. Secondly, in the year 1971 the percentage of people with their own house and rented house was equal. In a conclusion, the trend for both of the owners and renters is reciprocally changed from the year 1918 to 2011.
