What exactly is the bottom of social life? Uncover top 10 poorest countries kbpkK
Hello everyone. Whatever feelings you have today: happy, sad, sorrow, worry, etc, let get out of this, sitting together, and learning a new interesting thing with Uncover the Mystery. If you find our channel for the first time, please check out other videos. Thank you a bunch! Wherever do you live, please be satisfied with the conditions you have at this time. You know, we're living in a world which contains a variety of existences. Someone has a luxurious life at the time they were born. Opposite, somebody is alive in a poor, illness, and no education. What countries are they from? How do those countries look like? Can you imagine that? To make clear that, let begin with our video: Uncover the top 10 poorest countries. 1) Burundi Burundi, a landlocked country in East Africa, is a low-income economy where agriculture employs 80 percent of the population. Do you know that American GDP is 242 more times as much as Burundi GDP! The birth rate is lower than common in the world. In 2020, it was 37. 8 per 1, 000 people. All children born have to face the risk of malnutrition, the war between Hutu and Tutsi tribes. It is not a common destination for most travelers that go to East Africa because of many risks to it – for example, traveling outside the capital of Bujumbura is a risky move, especially after nightfall. According to the September 2019 report of the UN Commission of Inquiry on Burundi, mass atrocities and crimes against humanity are still being committed in the country, primarily by state agents and their allies. Furthermore, the Commission determined that President Pierre Nkurunziza and many members of his inner circle are personally liable for some of the most serious of these crimes. Summary executions, arbitrary arrests, and detentions, acts of torture and other cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment, sexual violence, and forced disappearances are among them. 2) The Central African Republic The Central African Republic remains one of Africa's poorest countries. Tens of thousands of vulnerable children are denied basic services. Many of them have been orphaned as a result of AIDS or civil war. SOS Children's Villages supports and protects children in two locations throughout the country. As you can see, this country is facing many challenges. The country has seen numerous rebellions and brutal regimes since independence. Armed conflict has displaced tens of thousands of Central Africans. The Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), depending in bordering Uganda, has only recently begun to cross the border. Many people have been forced to flee their homes to avoid violence. The economic growth is overwhelmingly dependent on agriculture, with the majority of its population engaged in subsistence farming. Despite the fact that the country is considered a democracy, press freedom remains severely restricted. With a per capita income of only 750 US dollars per year, the Central African Republic is one of Africa's poorest countries. The average Central African adult had only 3. 5 years of formal education. Tens of thousands of children do not go to school at all. Five out of every ten Central Africans are illiterate. Not surprised why this country is one of the poorest countries in Africa. 3) The Democratic Republic of the Congo Let move to the third ranking of the poor globally. The Democratic Republic of Congo is the largest country in Sub-Saharan Africa. This country is endowed with exceptional natural resources, such as minerals like cobalt and copper, hydropower potential, significant arable land, immense biodiversity, and the world's second-largest rainforest. Despite initiating reforms aimed at strengthening governance in environmental protection and improving the business climate, the country is ranked 183 out of 190 in the 2020 Doing Business report. Key governance indicators continue to be deficient. The Democratic Republic of the Congo ranks 175 out of 189 countries on the 2020 Human Development Index. Yeah, it's really a low ranking, so that's why this country has been one of the poorest ones for a long time. And because of that, The Democratic Republic of the Congo falls into a loop that can't find any way to escape. 4) Morocco Morocco is a country rich in history and tradition, with a distinct culture influenced by Arab, Berber, French, and African cultures. While the country faces a number of economic, political, and social challenges, its GDP has continued to grow, indicating that it is making progress in terms of its growth and development. Domestic progress can be seen in the country's efforts to increase school enrollment and literacy rates, as well as to reduce poverty. It has also demonstrated its international progress by leading the region's environmental progress. Tada! We have just brought some facts that you can't stop to hear. Morocco has the African continent's sixth-largest economy. Its GDP growth rate accelerated from 2. 40 percent in July to 3 percent in October 2018. Although GDP had been higher in previous years, this increase represents a new upswing in growth. Furthermore, in an index evaluation, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) concluded that Morocco is the worst country in North Africa in terms of income inequality. In 2013, the income share held by the top 20% was 47 percent, while the bottom 20% held a total of 6. 70 percent. In Morocco, income distribution remains a problem that must be addressed. This is the answer to why although this country has positive economic growth, it is still a low-developed country. 5) Nigeria Nigeria, a major regional player in West Africa, has a population of 202 million people and is home to one of the world's largest youth populations. With an abundance of natural resources, it is Africa's largest oil exporter and has the continent's largest natural gas reserves. Let have an overview of Nigeria's economics. The macroeconomic situation is more difficult now than it was in 2015-2016, when oil prices fell precipitously and Nigeria experienced its first recession in 25 years. Nigeria currently has fewer buffers and policy instruments to cushion adverse effects. The Excess Crude Account has been depleted, external reserves are heavily dependent on short-term flows, and policy uncertainty affects investor confidence. Prior to the 2016 recession, Nigeria's economy was expanding rapidly at a rate of 6. 3 percent. While Nigeria has made some socio-economic progress in recent years, its human capital development has lagged due to underinvestment. The World Bank's 2018 Human Capital Index placed it 152nd out of 157 countries. 6) Mozambique Sixth ranking: Mozambique! Do you know anything about this country? It locates in the Southeastern region of Africa. Having a rich culture and hurtful history, it surely is an interesting choice to visit. Mozambique was under Portuguese rule, and the black population had few educational opportunities, with only a few of the elite able to study in Portugal in 2002. Literacy rates are now much higher, with 58. 55 percent of adults aged 15 and up being able to read and write. The country's national poverty rate is estimated to be between 41 and 46 percent of the total population. This means that approximately 11 million people in the country are impoverished. While national welfare levels have improved in comparison to previous years, the gains have not contributed to a convergence of welfare levels between rural and urban areas. Mozambique used to be one of the poorest countries in the world and poverty reached approximately 80 percent of the total population. But everything has to change! From 2009 to 2015, the country’s economy kept growing at a slow but stable pace. 7) Liberia On the west coast of Africa's rough and varied terrain, you'll find Liberia. Until 1989, when a rebellion broke out, the country was peaceful and stable. The Liberian civil war lasted until 2003. As a result, extreme poverty and unstable living conditions have become all too common in Liberia. According to the World Bank, approximately 54 percent of Liberia's population was poor in 2014. Between January and August 2014, more than 2. 1 million Liberians were unable to obtain basic necessities. Currently, 20% of the population lives in extreme poverty. It is unusual that the number of people living in extreme poverty is the same in urban and rural areas. According to the report, the primary reason for such high levels of poverty in urban areas is that homeowners cannot afford basic necessities such as food and electricity. Furthermore, Liberia is confronted with depressing statistics that are common in impoverished countries. The country has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the world, and many children are at risk of dying from preventable diseases such as malaria. On a global scale, life expectancy, education, and income are ranked extremely low. In addition, the country has the world's third-highest unemployment rate. 8) South Sudan Sudan is Africa's third largest country, with a total area of 1, 882, 000km2 and a population of 42. 8 million people. Since the battle between government and opposition groups in South Sudan erupted in mid-2016, living circumstances in the country, which were already difficult, have worsened substantially. The political and security situation continues precarious, and ongoing military operations in several parts of the nation have displaced about two million people, more than half of whom are children. In addition, more than two million people have sought refuge in neighboring nations. Sudan's economy has been in a state of decline since 2018, with declines in all components of GDP. Due to the combined impact of COVID-19, natural calamities like floods, and intermittent shortages of critical commodities like fuel, per capita GDP fell from USD1, 125 in 2017 to USD780 in 2019, with real GDP expected to have dropped by 8. 2 percent in 2020. Taking into account the population's economic concerns, the Transitional Government is moving forward with significant economic transformation, prioritizing harnessing the country's natural wealth to fund development, addressing inflation and parallel foreign currency exchange rates, and tackling historic economic distortions, such as fossil fuel subsidies. 9) Comoros Comoros is an island nation in the Indian Ocean sitting on the eastern African coast. The first thing you need to know is that approximately 18 percent of Comoros’ population lives below the international poverty line. There is 14. 3 percent of unemployed people in Comoros at the moment. Job creation is a significant priority for the country because 38% of the population works in agricultural zones. There are no universities in Comoros, therefore students will either study overseas or pursue careers in business, teaching, and agriculture. It's time to tackle the issue of child labor. Sometimes these children are taken away from their parents because they are unable of adequately caring for them. 21, 8% of youngsters aged seven to fourteen work while in school, according to a study. 10) Madagascar In the Indian Ocean off the coast of southern Africa, Madagascar is the sixth biggest island on earth. Among the most common causes of death in the United States are diarrheal illnesses, lower respiratory infections, newborn disorders, and stroke. The causes have remained the same since the survey was conducted in 2007, however, the number of deaths has changed. What about economics? Yeah, a substantial slowdown in economic activity is forecast in 2020 due to global trade and travel interruptions, as well as local containment measures. GDP growth is predicted to decrease from 5. 2 percent just before the breakout of the Ebola virus to only 1. 2% in 2020. Anyway, Madagascar can be recognized as a more developed country than others on this list. So, what do you think of living conditions in those countries? This is our pleasure if you share your thinking with us!

According
to the September 2019 report of the UN Commission of Inquiry on Burundi, mass atrocities and crimes against humanity are

in the
country

primarily
by state agents and their allies.
Furthermore
, the Commission determined that President Pierre
Nkurunziza
and
many
members of his inner circle are
personally
liable for
some
of the most serious of these crimes. Summary executions, arbitrary arrests, and detentions, acts of torture and other cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment, sexual violence, and forced disappearances are among them.

2) The
Central
African Republic

The
Central
African Republic remains one of Africa's
poorest
countries
. Tens of thousands of vulnerable
children
are denied
basic services.
Many
of them have
been orphaned
as a result
of AIDS or civil war. SOS Children's Villages supports and protects
children
in two locations throughout the
country
. As you can
see
, this
country
is facing
many
challenges. The
country
has
seen
numerous rebellions and brutal regimes since independence. Armed conflict has displaced tens of thousands of
Central
Africans. The Lord's Resistance Army (
LRA
),
depending
in bordering Uganda, has
only
recently begun to cross the border.
Many
people
have
been forced
to flee their homes to avoid violence. The
economic
growth
is
overwhelmingly
dependent on agriculture, with the majority of its
population
engaged in subsistence farming. Despite the fact that the
country
is considered
a democracy, press freedom remains
severely
restricted. With a per capita
income
of
only
750 US dollars per
year
, the
Central
African Republic is one of Africa's
poorest
countries
. The average
Central
African adult had
only
3. 5 years of formal education. Tens of thousands of
children
do not go to school at all. Five out of every ten
Central
Africans are illiterate. Not surprised why this
country
is one of the
poorest
countries
in Africa.

3) The
Democratic
Republic of the Congo

Let
move
to the third ranking of the poor globally. The
Democratic
Republic of Congo is the largest
country
in Sub-Saharan Africa. This
country
is endowed
with exceptional
natural
resources, such as minerals like cobalt and copper, hydropower potential, significant arable land, immense biodiversity, and the world's second-largest rainforest. Despite initiating reforms aimed at strengthening governance in environmental protection and improving the business climate, the
country
is ranked
183 out of 190 in the 2020 Doing Business report. Key governance indicators continue to be deficient. The
Democratic
Republic of the Congo ranks 175 out of 189
countries
on the 2020 Human
Development
Index. Yeah, it's
really
a low ranking,
so
that's why this
country
has been one of the
poorest
ones for a long
time
. And
because
of that, The
Democratic
Republic of the Congo falls into a loop that can't find any way to escape.

4)
Morocco Morocco
is a
country
rich in history and tradition, with a distinct culture influenced by Arab, Berber, French, and African cultures. While the
country
faces a number of
economic
, political, and social challenges, its GDP has continued to grow, indicating that it is making
progress
in terms of its
growth
and
development
. Domestic
progress
can be
seen
in the country's efforts to increase school enrollment and literacy
rates
, as
well
as to
reduce
poverty
. It has
also
demonstrated its international
progress
by leading the region's environmental
progress
.
Tada
! We have
just
brought
some
facts that you can't
stop
to hear. Morocco has the African continent's sixth-largest
economy
. Its GDP
growth
rate
accelerated from 2. 40
percent
in July to 3
percent
in October 2018. Although GDP had been higher in previous years, this increase represents a new upswing in
growth
.
Furthermore
, in an index evaluation, the Organization for
Economic
Cooperation and
Development
(OECD) concluded that Morocco is the worst
country
in North Africa in terms of
income
inequality. In 2013, the
income
share held by the top 20% was 47
percent
, while the bottom 20% held a
total
of 6. 70
percent
. In Morocco,
income
distribution remains a problem that
must
be addressed
. This is the answer to why although this
country
has
positive
economic
growth
, it is
still
a low-developed
country. 5)
Nigeria Nigeria
, a major regional player in West Africa, has a
population
of 202
million
people
and is home to one of the world's largest youth
populations
. With an abundance of
natural
resources, it is Africa's largest oil exporter and has the continent's largest
natural
gas reserves.
Let
have an overview of Nigeria's
economics
. The macroeconomic situation is more difficult
now
than it was in 2015-2016, when oil prices fell
precipitously
and Nigeria experienced its
first
recession in 25 years. Nigeria
currently
has fewer buffers and policy instruments to cushion adverse effects. The Excess Crude Account has
been depleted
, external reserves are
heavily
dependent on short-term flows, and policy uncertainty affects investor confidence. Prior to the 2016 recession, Nigeria's
economy
was expanding
rapidly
at a
rate
of 6. 3
percent
. While Nigeria has made
some
socio-economic
progress
in recent years, its human capital
development
has lagged due to
underinvestment
. The
World
Bank's 2018 Human Capital Index placed it 152nd out of 157
countries. 6)
Mozambique

Sixth ranking: Mozambique! Do you
know
anything about this
country
? It locates in the Southeastern region of Africa. Having a rich culture and hurtful history, it
surely
is an interesting choice to visit. Mozambique was under Portuguese
rule
, and the black
population
had few educational opportunities, with
only
a few of the elite able to study in Portugal in 2002. Literacy
rates
are
now
much higher, with 58. 55
percent
of adults aged 15 and up being able to read and write. The country's national
poverty
rate
is estimated
to be between 41 and 46
percent
of the
total
population
. This means that
approximately
11
million
people
in the
country
are impoverished
. While national welfare levels have
improved
in comparison
to previous years, the gains have not contributed to a convergence of welfare levels between rural and urban
areas
. Mozambique
used
to be one of the
poorest
countries
in the
world
and
poverty
reached
approximately
80
percent
of the
total
population
.
But
everything
has to
change
! From 2009 to 2015, the
country’s
economy
kept
growing at a slow
but
stable pace.

7) Liberia

On the west coast of Africa's rough and varied terrain, you'll find Liberia. Until 1989, when a rebellion broke out, the
country
was peaceful and stable. The Liberian civil war lasted until 2003.
As a result
, extreme
poverty
and unstable
living
conditions have become all too
common
in Liberia.
According
to the
World
Bank,
approximately
54
percent
of Liberia's
population
was poor in 2014. Between January and August 2014, more than 2. 1
million
Liberians were unable to obtain
basic necessities
.
Currently
, 20% of the
population
lives
in extreme
poverty
. It is unusual that the number of
people
living
in extreme
poverty
is the same in urban and rural
areas
.
According
to the report, the primary reason for such high levels of
poverty
in urban
areas
is that homeowners cannot afford
basic necessities
such as food and electricity.
Furthermore
, Liberia
is confronted
with depressing statistics that are
common
in impoverished

. The
country
has one of the highest infant mortality
rates
in the
world
, and
many
children
are at
risk
of dying from preventable diseases such as malaria. On a global scale, life expectancy, education, and
income
are ranked
extremely
low.
In addition
, the
country
has the world's third-highest unemployment
rate. 8)
South
Sudan Sudan
is Africa's third largest
country
, with a
total
area
of 1, 882, 000km2 and a
population
of 42. 8
million
people
. Since the battle between
government
and opposition groups in South Sudan erupted in mid-2016,
living
circumstances in the
country
, which were already difficult, have worsened
substantially
. The political and security situation continues precarious, and ongoing military operations in several parts of the nation have displaced about two
million
people
, more than half of whom are
children
.
In addition
, more than two
million
people
have sought refuge in neighboring nations. Sudan's
economy
has been in a state of decline since 2018, with declines in all components of GDP. Due to the combined impact of COVID-19,
natural
calamities like floods, and intermittent shortages of critical commodities like fuel, per capita GDP fell from USD1, 125 in 2017 to USD780 in 2019, with real GDP
expected
to have dropped by 8. 2
percent
in 2020. Taking into account the population's
economic
concerns, the Transitional
Government
is moving forward with significant
economic
transformation, prioritizing harnessing the country's
natural
wealth to fund
development
, addressing inflation and parallel foreign currency exchange
rates
, and tackling historic
economic
distortions, such as fossil fuel subsidies.

9)
Comoros Comoros
is an island nation in the Indian Ocean sitting on the eastern African coast. The
first
thing you need to
know
is that
approximately
18
percent
of Comoros’
population
lives
below the international
poverty
line. There is 14. 3
percent
of unemployed
people
in Comoros
at the moment. Job creation is a significant priority for the
country
because
38% of the
population
works in agricultural zones. There are no universities
in Comoros
,
therefore
students will either study overseas or pursue careers in business, teaching, and agriculture. It's
time
to tackle the issue of child labor.
Sometimes
these
children
are taken
away from their parents
because
they are unable of
adequately
caring for them. 21, 8% of youngsters aged seven to fourteen work while in school,
according
to a study.

10) Madagascar

In the Indian Ocean off the coast of
southern Africa
, Madagascar is the sixth biggest island on earth. Among the most
common
causes of death in the United States are diarrheal illnesses, lower respiratory infections, newborn disorders, and stroke. The causes have remained the same since the survey
was conducted
in 2007,
however
, the number of deaths has
changed
. What about
economics
? Yeah, a substantial slowdown in
economic
activity is forecast in 2020 due to global trade and travel interruptions, as
well
as local containment measures. GDP
growth
is predicted
to decrease from 5. 2
percent
just
before
the breakout of the Ebola virus to
only
1. 2% in 2020.
Anyway
, Madagascar can
be recognized
as a more developed
country
than others on this list.

living
conditions in those
