There have been plenty of discussions about inventing a new language so we could all communicate internationally without issues.
Considering there's around 6, 500 languages that are spoken around the world, it could be a small possibility for everyone to pick up the newly invented language and use it.
Of course it would have some advantages when it comes to international politics, economics, the global market, etc.
But personally I think it's a nearly impossible idea to accomplish, and it would be a bad idea and it has many disadvantages.
What are the reasons?
I think English is already close to international, it's spoken world wide and can be easily learned if you have the sources, be it learning it while paying for tutoring, in schools and as well as online.
Besides that, not everyone actually does have the resources to learn English, so if we would invent a new language to communicate, there's a low chance that it could reach them and for them to afford.
In addition, adults tend to struggle more than younger people when it comes to learning a language, so it would be difficult.
Many people already communicate well with each other in their own languages with no struggle, and those languages are also learned by many other people around the world.
In my opinion there's many languages that are going extinct and are spoken by fewer people today. We should be saving and archiving those languages instead of creating a new one.
In conclusion it would be unrealistic and impossible to do so.
