After reading " How we learn to behave" by Williams, J, I gained the knowledge of the importance of behavior culture in today's life. And the way we behave depends on quite a bit on the environment we live in. For example, if we live in a healthy, positive living environment, we will have better behaviors than someone living in an environment without family education. First of all, we cannot deny the gestures of socialization because we are important on dignity by our, communication and behaviors. So what is socialization? In sociology, the concept of socialization is defined as a cycle that introduces students to social norms and customs through interaction with society. To help people develop their abilities and learn from society. In other words, socialization is the process by which we continuously absorb culture into our personality to live in harmony with society. For example: When your parents teach you how to talk to people around you when your brother or sister teaches you how to use school tools when your teacher teaches you about the history of the country. . . it means you are being socialized. socialization. Thus, it can be said that family is the first and most important factor for people. Because, from birth to adulthood, family is the basic environment that teaches children life experiences, life lessons or cultural standards to shape their personality and life attitude. Because the living environment will have a good or bad influence on the human psyche. It's like being taught by my family. I myself am a neat, clean, polite person and I think these are all taught by my parents and that is also the culture of my family. My parents might yell at me if I leave my house messy or if I speak rudely to the elderly. So from my point of view, I feel that the living environment will be an important factor. important to my personality and attitude to life. When we are a little older, in addition to our families, the school is also an agent that has a significant influence on our creation and development cycle. School is a place to give people knowledge and skills from low to high depending on the age and ability of children to absorb. At each different position and level in the school, each person will have an awareness of their responsibilities and duties as well as the motivation to develop and fulfill themselves optimally. And an important factor that can influence our way of life and thinking is our friends and people living with us in the same society. Because her friends will be people who are quite close and meet a lot with us, it is normal for us to have one and behave or behave like them. However, friends will have good people and bad people, so we need to keep our views to not be taken advantage of by bad people and harm ourselves and those around us. I myself am the youngest member of my family and I regularly receive education from family and friends if my behavior is not good or wrong. Although sometimes I feel quite sad or annoyed by people's suggestions, after understanding the problem, I have realized the importance of the suggestions that people around me give me. It has helped me change into a better person, in accordance with human moral standards. However, in my opinion, the education of children in different countries will be different. For example, in Asian families, they will use harsh punishments on children when they do wrong to ensure that children are afraid and do not make mistakes again like in the story "Tiger Mother". by Amy Chua. It's the story of a Chinese-American woman who told how she raised her two daughters very strict, such as forbidding the children to watch television or making them do 2000 math problems until they best in class or her threat to burn her daughter's dolls if they don't play their instruments perfectly. Honestly, when I read this tiger mother's story, I felt very much in love with my parents because they didn't teach me to be so strict and I felt very much in love with my mother when she didn't take these measures. Such strict education for me. However, in some European countries, the way they educate their children is different. For example, the Germans will be patient without yelling at children or letting them choose what they want. Personally, I really like this way of education. Because it will make me feel more comfortable and free. In summary, the importance of socialization cannot be denied because it is a major factor influencing the perspective of human personality. That's why I see that we humans need to have appropriate and standard behaviors and do not violate human ethics.
