A day I spent with my best friend.

A day I spent with my best friend. J0R15
It’s a cool morning on Friday, Alarm clock shows the adjusted time and rings badly. I put off my hand from eiderdown. Stretch arms out above head, holds head up with hands, lean against a pillow, and grope an Alarm clock. I find it, finally. Now, guesses the right button to get rid of this irritating sound because still, I want to sleep more which will be impossible if it rings as continuously. Eyes are still closed and I am unable to keep open the eyes completely. Hold the Alarm clock, press the guessed button, and suppose that I have turned off the alarm sound with droopy eyes. But when I elongate my hand to put the clock beside the table it rings again. At this moment I feel the clock sounded like melting glass in my ears cruelly. I wish to hit it on the wall harshly but I can not do it, unfortunately. I start rubbing my eyes, sit up on the bed and try to understand the surrounding situation with puffy-red eyes. The whole room covers with a blanket of candlelight. The Wax of the candle melts drop by drop and gives the shadow of night falls. For a moment, I’m in a love with this beautiful scene of the room. Probably I will always be lost in this beauty if the alarm clock doesn’t ring again. Stretch back the hand beside the table and turn on the room light also turn off the candlelight. I consider the alarm clock and hand it up. I seem that I had pressed the wrong button and snoozed the alarm. That’s why it rings again and again. Turn off the alarm too. I jump from the bed, walk towards the windows and remove the curtains. I see some of the sun-rays refract while others reflect from the glass windows. Sunlight enters and welcomes me by spreading in the room quietly. Looking out and overviewing the environment of the huge market which can easily be seen from my apartment’s glass window. People move here and there, some engage with their customers, customers are busy bargaining with their sellers, some pay money for purchased things, some just wander, poor people beg and expand their hands in front of the passengers. At this time, the whole market gives a mind-blowing view. I appreciate the beauty of nature that all of a sudden I have an idea to capture this beautiful view. Move back and pick up the android phone. When I unlock the pattern, the screen shows me twelve notifications of friend’s calls along with texts. Touch the screen to read the texts and then touch the back option to see the time. O, Lord! It’s 10: 30 am. How dare I slept long? I’m an early bird. Usually, I wake up early at 5: 00 am. Start my day with the dawn prayer call, with the recitation of the Holy Quran, and with the exercise as well. I oversleep today. I remind that we friends had planned to go shopping together by 09: 30 am, yesterday. Khushi never forgives me. I have to Call back and excuse her for the plan. Dial her number and waits for her response. Instead of Khushi's voice, the voice of the help-liner strikes my ears as “sorry! Your dialed number is busy at this moment, please wait”. I try her number 3 to 4 times more but the number of responses is the same. It takes a glance to understand all the situation. Khushi gets angry, she will not attend my call, won’t listen to any excuse also won’t forgive me easily. She is very sensitive. I have to do something else to quell resentment. Leave mobile on the charging and make for bathe room. During the shower, water releases my anxiety I have a trick that how to remove her anger? Or how to switch on her mood? Because she is my childhood friend. Have cookies instead of heavy breakfast and walk off from the room. I walk towards Khushi's home. Press the bell and wait for opening the door. Hey, Iqra Appi! Chat (Khushi's younger sister) jumps out and shouts to see me. I put my hand on her mouth, ties her tongue, and whisper. Then hold her hand and move towards the Khushi's room silently. In the front of her room, she leaves my hand and Knocks on the door, quietly. Who is the hell? Walkout please, I don't wanna talk to anybody? Khushi's trembling voice rises. At the spot, I open the door. Khushi surprises and widens her mouth to see me. Eyes welled up with tears. Suddenly, she hugs me and starts crying. Don't do this. I didn't mean to hurt you Khushi. Please, stop crying. I will never repeat it. During speaking, I wipe tears from her face. If you repeat I won't be more with you seriously, says Khushi. My dear! It won't repeat. Don't be possessive, be relax. I'm here for you and won't let you go anywhere. Just chill and get ready. We will do the shopping for Eid-ul-Adha and enjoy the whole retain day together. Okay done! I come back in ten minutes just wait. Say Khushi, excitedly. As usual, I use all the old dialogues and convince her to go out shopping. Shopping with your best friend is so much better than shopping with anyone else. They know what stores you want to go to. You don't have to beg them to go into your favorite stores because they are already on their way in there. You never have to feel bad about how long or how little time you spend in a store. Khushi is very punctual. She takes exactly ten minutes to get ready and stands in front of me. Sometimes her punctuality, patience, and humbleness get shock me. We leave the house happily and wait for a ride at some distance from the highway. A ride that takes us to the market. Stop! stop! We have to go to the Boulevard A/14 with-wah road. How much will you charge? Khushi asks the rickshaw driver. You have to pay two hundred and fifty rupees only, reply the driver. No, it's very much, you have to make a discount on us, said Khushi. Okay, two hundred rupees is done, reply the driver. Finally, we reach the mall. Browse the various brands. I'm unable to choose a single one of them. Maam, Can I help you find anything, ask the shop assistant. Yes, I look for a new cotton collection. Do you have something like this but cotton? Yes, we have! Try this blue one. This is pure cotton and this collection is near to ends. This is the last piece, reply assistant. I love to wear blue but my wardrobe is already full of blue. I want to do something different now. Oh! I see. What about this pink? Ask assistant. Yes, it's nice but doesn't quite fit. Do you have these in size 14? Sorry, ma'am. Its medium size sales the day before yesterday. I think you look better in an orange frock. This suits you, reply the female assistant. I'm not sure I can afford this. Don't worry ma'am! It's currently 50% off. Really! Can I try this on? Sure, the changing room is on the left side, replied the assistant. Yes, this is a good choice, I will look perfect on Eid. Pack this, please. Ask assistant. Okay, ma'am thank you for choosing our brand, reply the shop assistant. I purchase the remaining necessities and helps Khushi in her shopping. After shopping, we enjoy the pizzas and have great fun. We both tire and want to take a rest. I come back to the apartment and get ready to fall into a long sleep.
