Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing this letter with regard to the award that you organise for the people who have helped society in an appropriate way. I would like to propose friend of mine with below detailed reasons. I and John Conor are friends since we began to university in September, 2018. Since then, I have had a chance to see how helpful and merciful he is. He always endeavors to do his best in order to help people or to make any simple favour. That's why he could be one of the most suitable candidates for this award. He has been actively helping seniors in their daily routine. To be more precise, he pays visits to seniors at least 3 days in a week. He checks their needs whether they are lack of something at home. Moreover, he sometimes takes care of the cleaning of their homes. In addition to that, he often goes for a walk with their dogs as he adores the dogs too. On top of all of these, he has a checklist for their medicines to be able to control if everything is all right. In my view, a column in your newspaper about his volunteer works would be a great award for him. By this way, he could understand better how appreciated all his achievements are.
