Dear Councillor, I am writing to bring your attention to the recent changes that you have decided to make. My name is Iris Sharma. I have been living in this locality for the last 20 years. Professionally, I am currently pursuing psychology at Fanshawe college as well as I run some social awareness campaigns. I am immensely disappointed at the new rules that were passed on 4th July stating that all the local stores will not be able to open before 11 in the morning to 7 in the evening. As well as it was added that people will not be able to leave the house after 8 pm. This law is causing arising many problems. Firstly, local business will close. Secondly, Mental health will be a huge problem I would ask to increase the time limit. I really think you should read the article about the importance of mental health before passing this law. Passing this will result in many suicide cases, people will suffering from depression and insomnia. By reducing, the time frame not only Shopkeepers will suffer economically but also that they will close the stores as they will have no money to run the store. Thank you for your consideration. Hopefully, you will review the law. Yours Faithfully, Iris Sharma
