Dear Mr. Adam, I am writing this letter to complain about the increase in the rent. You might be aware that I am currently studying in an university nearby and in the final semester. After completion of my exams which are going to be help in the next few weeks, I will be travelling to my home country. I am still in the hunt for a new part-time job. However, due to pandemic, it is very difficult to get one. I feel it is inappropriate to increase the rent at this tough times. As I am from a poor country and all my education is going through college scholarship, it is very difficult for me to pay the increased rent. So, I would like to you to take above-mentioned circumstances into consideration and reduce the house rent to the same as it was before. If not, I will look for a new home. Please give important attention to this matter and will be looking after for your prompt response. Yours faithfully, Anantha
