Dear Sir, I am writing to report an accident that occurred with the car that I hired from your company. I hired this car from your Dubai branch on 21st January 2020. The purpose of hiring this car was to travel to Oman during the winter holidays. I went on the holiday with my family including my wife and my 2 year old daughter. We were driving on the highway of Oman. Even though she was in the baby seat and belted properly, she somehow managed to unbuckle the belt. In the shock of noticing that, I lost the steering balance and accidentally hit the car on my left lane. There was a loud noise when the car was hit. I immediately stepped out of the car, inspected my car and the other car involved in the accident. Thankfully it was a minor accident. The left side mirror of my car was broken but, the mirror body was intact. I called the Oman to report the accident and they arrived at the spot in 15 minutes. They checked the situation of the car and gave me a report to claim insurance. Since the incident happened outside the country of my residence, the insurance procedure will take a week to be completed. I request you to allow an extension for returning the car.
