Dear Samuel, I received your letter two days ago and I heard that you can’t decide whether you should get a job or go to college. I think getting a job would be the better option for you. Let me tell you why. As I’ve known you since childhood I think I know your interests and needs very well. All these years, I have seen you showing more interest in doing things than learning lessons. You used to be always busy doing the practical stuff like fixing cars. As a result, you had very poor classroom attendance. This makes me feel strong that university is not suitable for you. Even if you join, you are more likely to drop out. Getting a job will not only help your interests but also enable you to earn some good money. Your family financial situation makes me feel this is the right choice for you. With the knowledge and skills you have, I think you could easily get a job in the automobile industry and I’m pretty sure that within a few years you will be able to establish yourself as a successful mechanic. I hope my advice helps you. Best wishes, Sandeep
