Dear sir, I am writing this letter to express my disappointment towards the construction of an airport in my locality. From a local newspaper I came to know about this. I am completely disfavour this project, since an airport is already available within the range if 10km. I personally believe, new airport would have detrimental effects on community as well as environment. Firstly, for such a huge project plentiful land is required. Consequently, it will end up with deforestation. Secondly, planes results noise pollution. This will soar many heath problems, for instance hearing issues and sleeping disorder. In order to cure these potential issues, government should invest such funds in former airport. This would serve both purposes, efficient service and sustainable development.
