I have received the monthly gas bill for the last quarter from April to June and I would like to inform you that I have been overcharged for this period. I have noticed that the meter reading in the bill and the actual reading in the meter has a huge difference, and this is why the bill was stating the high charges. And also this is happening for second time, the first time I was not able to make a complaint because I was out of country and my landlord had to make the payment on my behalf.
However, I understand that this is happening because the meter is located inside the compound and the gate would be locked all the time when I am out. So, I believe the meter reader had come to my house while I was out so he/she would have not been able to come in and check the actual meter reading since the gate would have been locked.
I apologies for the inconvenience caused and I would like to make a request to you to consider this letter as on urgent basis and send the meter reader once again to check the actual meter reading and change the monthly bill for the last quarter. This would be very much helpful to me, I will look forward to hearing a favorable response from you soon.
