Hello Sir, I’m writing this letter to request you to grant me a leave for a month to complete my thesis for my post-graduation starting from 1st November to 2nd December. The reason behind to take leave for this long is I need to complete and submit my thesis to my guide at university. The last submission date is due on 30th November. After submitting my thesis, I will be travelling back and will reach to my home on 1st December. During my leave, I assure you I will be regularly checking my mails and will be in keep in touch with my team lead Steve and I have shared my contact details with him. I know my leave will affect my work at office but I will make sure after resuming office I will be working extra few hours for next few weeks to complete my tasks and compensate my office work.
