I am writing this letter to request your help and support with a travel insurance claim. Last week, I had a short trip to The United Kingdom from Bangalore and I have registered for this travel with HDFC Ergo Insurance and the policy number is B556523. Unfortunately, during this trip, I lost my bag. I am trying to raise the settlement.
First and foremost, this was a vacation planned on short notice. However, I did not miss to insure it. As usual, HDFC was my first preference. My onward journey was on 25th August 2021 and returned on 29th August 2021.
I have carried my favorite samsonite briefcase which used to be my companion in all my business trips. This was an expensive model of samsonite which cost me around 300 USD.
On the way back, it was in Heathrow Airport lounge, that I lost my briefcase. There was an unusual rush due to the delay in flight towards Asia. In this hustle, I missed this baggage. By that time, I realized it. I could not find any trace of it.
It was having other valuables like my 14-inch mac book air laptop also some vintage fountain pens.
Since this would incur a huge loss to me. I would request you to evaluate my precious belongings which would be around 350 USD and settle my request.
