Dear Sir, My name is Shola James, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with an ongoing issue I am experiencing at my current hostel. During my freshman year, I was assigned to stay in room 15H in New Brunei Hostel and I have been a resident there ever since. However, I am a final year student now and that comes with more workload and an added pressure to graduate. Recently, there has been a rapid increase in the number of social events organised in the hostel that generates excessive disturbance. This unrelenting noise pollution has negatively affected my academic performance of late as I am constantly distracted from my studies by the sound coming from neighbouring rooms. Also, my sleeping regimen is now irregular due to constant disruptions, hence adversely impacting my health. Therefore, I request you kindly relocate me to a vacant lodging in Old Brunei Hostel where there is zero-tolerance for public disturbance. The hostel's rules are strictly enforced and students do not violate them. This will significantly improve not just my health but also afford me a conducive environment to study satisfactorily.
