Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a resident and property owner in Maralago I recently read from the local newspaper that a developer is building a shopping complex near our home.
As you may already know, Maralago remains a residential area and no commercial activity is allowed without necessary approvals and proper consultations with the residents. It is rather surprising to find out that a developer has already moved with plans to build a commercial property. We as residents are concerned about the insecurities and noise that would arise from having a shopping mall right in the middle of our town. Maralago has always been a secure and quiet area to live in and this would change the serenity completely. I have talked to lots of our neighbors who are also not pleased with this happenings.
I think we deserve a right to know more about the development and the developer before the plan goes ahead. We also demand to know about the council approval procedure followed by the developer. We will move on with filing a complaint with the housing council if you do not address this issue and we expect to be consulted on the actions decided.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours Faithfully,
Sarah
