Dear Mr Lionel My name is Mike, your tenant in the 210 room on the second floor in Colney Building. I’m writing to offer an explanation for breaking a clock in a table in your apartment. As you know, I’ve just moved into your flat for a week in order to go to the office easily. Last Friday, after completing the deadlines of the work assigned by my superior, I came back late to my flat and went to bed immediately. Before sleeping, I used an-alarm clock, which was green and rectangular, to set the time to 7 a. m in the Saturday morning. Unfortunately, I accidentally broke it on the next day when I forgot I was resting before. With highsight, I should have put the clock in a place far from my bed, instead of putting it in the corner of the table. It was totally my fault and I feel so awful. Fortunately, I have a friend who is an owner of a clock store and I was wondering if I could spend money on buying this one for you. I hope that this letter clears up any queries you had about the situation. Obviously, I feel absolutely terrible about what happened, and offer you my apologies for all the inconvenience caused.
