You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. You are going to study at a college in the UK next year. You would like to stay in the college Hall of Residence. Write a letter to the college giving your accommodation requirements. You should outline what your room and food needs are, and also ask what alternatives are available if they cannot provide what you want. Write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing this letter to bring your attention to the matter related to my accommodation in the college, I have been enrolled in your college and my class will start in next year, so I would like to seek your assistance in this matter. My name is Karthika Warrier, and my major subject is Business Administration. My concern about the stay over there is that, I prefer a single room, over group stay since I have some serious wheezing problem which demand me to stay alone. Sometimes, I failed to sleep for hours because of this, and this could affect my roommates peace of mind and stay. I really don"t want to trouble them anyway. Moreover, I am a vegetarian, and If I would have to stay with a non-vegetarian and vegetarian dishes are not available in college residence that will again a problem to me. If it is not served there, please suggest the best option I can avail near the hostel. I hope now you understood my concerns over the stay at college residence. If you can guide me with the best alternative accommodation, I can opt in the immediate vicinity of the college, that would be a great help. Anyway, I anticipate that, I will get a single room in the college premises itslf so that I dont need to go out and search for my accomodation. I am expecting to hear from you at the earliest, so that I can get prepared for the same as early as possible. Your's faithfully, Karthika Warrier
