Dear Ms Robinson, I am writing to you in regards to the upcoming excursion that my child is attending next week with her year 8 cohort. My name is Helen Turner and I am the mother of Sarah Turner - one of the new students in your home group. As previously discussed, our family is still new to this town after the relocation so I hope Sarah can build good relationships with her peers during this trip. Although the school letter stated that lunch will be provided on the day, I also overheard that other caregivers are giving their children extra cash for refreshments. Please help me clarify if this is a requirement or not as I am a bit confused. Furthermore, I am sure you are aware of Sarah's severe peanut allergy as I have filed a special dietary request to the school before orientation.
