Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to apply for college accommodation. My name is Mia Smith. I am a sophomore, currently studying international trade at the University of Auckland. Now I live in a rented house, which I am unhappy with, for the safety issues. Last Monday, when I got back home, I found the room was in a mess. Some burglar had stolen my laptop and ipad. And before that, my car’s side window was shattered twice. Fortunately I have student insurance, but even so, it is unacceptable for me to live here any longer. I, therefore, request that college accommodation should be provided. Only in the campus environment, can I feel at ease with study and live. Besides, I will have more time to play with my classmates if I live on campus. I hope you can approve my request. I look forward to receiving your response. Yours faithfully, Mia Smith
