How is life treating you? I hope you are reading this and wishing that you could go back in time and tell me that everything is going to be alright. I merely wanted to remind you that study harder and complete your deadlines on time, please. Remember how hard you in 2021 were studying, woke up at 4 AM every day to learn Korean and English. This school year is extremely various and special from other years because we learn through online platforms. Therefore, I did not have the opportunity to face-to-face interaction with my new teachers this year. That’s a bit sad and disappointed. However, the most impressive teacher for me is Ms. Phuong - my homeroom teacher. Because she treats me immensely wholeheartedly and respects my opinions. What do you think will make you proudest in this school year? According to my way of thinking, my change and the inquisitive attitude is the proudest thing of the year. I have read a book about how to live for myself, consequently, I decided to went out of my comfort zone and did what I liked, regardless of the prejudices that other people imposed. I think this is the most beneficial thing that ever made in my life. Hope you will maintain this thought in the next 4 years. Recently, I have bought numerous books to read. Those were consequently fascinating and inspired me a lot in life. I changed my life and perspective after spending 2 months at home to read books and listen to podcasts. Do you still like books and podcasts? One more thing, I have been learning Korean for about 3 months now and I want to study abroad in Korea. So I want to ask you this question. Have you studied abroad in Korea in 2025? I will so disillusion if your answer is no. At that time, you must have chosen your major already because it is your first term at college. I hope you can pursue your best-loved major. I guess that you will choose to study communication (media), right? I am reluctant and confuse to choose a major for university. Due to the fact that I am not good at anything. Sometimes, it made me depressed when I think about it. Besides, do you have a part-time job? That is the most exciting thing I want to try when I go to college. Doing a job is hard sometimes, however, I believe that it will give you a gigantic amount of experiences for your future. “No pain no gain”. I will be there for you anytime, so please don’t give up on your life. I know that it is a tiny early to ask this but I still want to ask. Have you had a plan after graduating the university? How about the postgraduate program? Knowledge is never redundant, thus, I think finding a scholarship to go to tertiary education is the most creditably choice after finishing the university program. Remember that our parents have spent a spacious amount of money on you to go to BCIS. Hence, you need to have superb jobs to make double that amount to take care of your parents. Last but foremost, our experiences make us who we are. “Maybe I made mistakes yesterday, but yesterday's me is still me. Today who I am with all of my faults and mistakes. Tomorrow I might be a tiny wiser and that would be me too. " -RM (BTS)- I hope you choose to let your dreams and your success define you; ignore other people’s fallacy about you. They are not living your life so how can they understand your circumstances? Choose to live happy and ambitious. Be yourself. This letter is a bit long now.
