Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to let you know that I am unhappy with my current living conditions. While the accommodation is very nice, my roommate has made it extremely difficult for me to work and co-exists with him. I am sincerely hoping that you will be considerate once I explain my situation to you. Let me explain my situation. Trouble started about 4 months ago when my roommate first moved in. Prior to that, everything was fine; my old roommate was very nice and adjustable to live with. My current roommate, however, is a chain smoker and he fills up the room with smoke. This situation, on one hand is a health hazard, is impacting my work schedules since it impossible to stay in the room and continue work. Would you kindly relocate me or my roommate to a different room? I would rather prefer to live with someone who a non-smoker and is more attentive to others concerns.
