Dear Mrs Appleby, I am writing in response to your advertisement for a school trip competition. It is a real pleasure for me to partecipate in this context. After several discussions, together with my classmates we chose Rome, the capital of Italy. In the last year, we planned for going there but due to a pandemic we didn't visit that place. During the visit, the students will visit a lot of museums, historical monuments such as the Colosseum or the Altare della Patria. They can also visit many Roman villas and walk through the streets of the historic centre. Visiting this place, will help students understand the importance of History and culture in general.
