Dear Sir/Madam, I contact you today as I have seen that you have an opening for a part-time position in your bookshop. I am very interested in the position. I am a young and dynamic person, with a Bachelor degree in English Literature. I chose this degree for my love of books. This is not limited to the classics, I am always keen on learning about new authors in all different styles (thriller, fantasy, …). I pride myself to be taking the beat of the market and gladly providing advice on potential readings to friends and family. Moreover, I have experience in the retail business, as I have worked previously for an apparel company. I know how to work with the till, stock replenishment, or advise the customers. Finally, I am seeking a part-time position as I am an aspiring author and I would like to have the opportunity to have spare time for writing. I believe my qualifications, experience and flexibility would be the perfect match for this role. I have attached my resume with the details of my experience. Should you be interested to meet me and discuss in more details, I will be available next Monday or Tuesday through the day for an interview. Sincerely Charles Marcotte
