Dear Mary, Many thanks for your letter. It was lovely to hear from you again and sorry I haven’t replied soon. To tell you the truth, I am particularly fond of reading. In my free time, I wander around the local library or the bookshops and stay there for a while with some good books. I’m a big fan of J. K Rowling, so I spend most of my spare time reading her famous series novel “Harry Potter”. Interestingly, I also own myself a giant bookshelf which has a lot of books in it. Cookery is one of my favorite hobbies apart from being a bookworm. I think I have a talented aptitude for cooking because all of my family members love my dishes especially Vietnamese cuisine like Pho, beef noodles and spring rolls. As a young woman, I’m really into shopping and eating out with my family and friends. When I have nothing to do particularly during the weekends, I feel like going shopping sprees with my peers and having a cookout with my family members at the picnic site. But once in a blue moon, I’d like to have a slap-up dinner with my family in a five-star restaurant for a change. Anyway, that’s all for now because I’ve got to go out. Write soon. All the best, Lan
