Architecture is a fascinating combination of art and technology to me. The engagement of dichotomy of the world in both creative and scientific aspects, as well as aesthetic and functional designs, for a person with my personality who has loved painting since childhood and spent approximately her whole time as a teenager to drawing and sketching whatever was around; houses, people, landscape, etc. became a strong motivation to choose Architecture major at university. I have completed the bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering at Islamic Azad University: Art and Architectural University of South Branch. My great enthusiasm is to seize the opportunity of studying at Oslo School of Architecture and Design in the field of Master of Architecture. I have always followed the latest articles, documents and everything which is related to the architecture and design. Indeed, I have learnt to feel all the aspects of life by architecture. This type of vision to the life encouraged me to participate in nearly all of the projects since I started my studying at university. As a result, I could increase my abilities and skills significantly in this field and my project with the title of School had chosen as the best project at the university during my studies, subsequently. My professional aim is to be an architect and designer with a particular interest in interior and exterior designing, materials development and process of design. At the time of graduation, I firmly decided to follow a career in the field of Architecture with respect to interior and exterior design. In school, it is extremely important for me to spend my educational period in a place where the main focus is on architecture and its fields which Oslo School of Architecture and Design is exactly where I look for. As I started my research over the most appropriate education place in Oslo, according to the comments of students of Oslo School of Architecture and Design in various websites, they all agree that this school is one of the best design schools in Scandinavia with principles and unique system; according to the information in AHO website, in its education, the school follows a studio-based model with a faculty-to-student ratio that encourages individual development and collaboration, for instance. Moreover, by reading the curriculum vitae of fame architects who graduated from this school and in order of education staff and worthwhile professors who I gained information about them from AHO website; I am eager to obtain this opportunity to complete my master course there. On the other hand, a supportive academic environment, safety of environment of the place where I am going to complete my master period and the quality of educational system is considerably important for my family and I; and the remarkable point is that the nature and beautiful winters of Norway have always absorbed me. as a result, in my vision, Norway would be a great choice for me. Over the course of bachelor’s program, I was active in extra-curriculum education too. For instance, I have been participating in diverse workshops in different cities of my country since I started my studying at university. Furthermore, spending a six-month period of intership, developed my experiences in real environment of workplace. I am confident that my educational and practical background have created an appropriate basis for the master’s program in this field.
