Dear Mr. James, I am writing this letter to express my gratitude to you for returning my lost bag with its contents intact. Last week, July 7, I went to the Rose Garden restaurant to have my lauch and I kept my bag beneath the table, however, while I was eating, I received an emergency call which made me to leave in a hurry, as a consequence, I forgot my bad in the process. In the bag are various important items such as my laptop, international passport, visa, cheque books and credit cards. I would be making a presentation in New York next week Tuesday and if you had not returned it, I will be unable to travel for the seminar, as a result, I will not participate in the workshop. Also, with the increasing rate of internet crime, my account may have been compromised if my cheque books and ATM cards had ended up in the wrong hands.
