Dear Sir/Madam, I am a loyal subscriber of your newspaper for past 3 years. I am born and brought up in Kodagu town in Karnataka. I was very excited when an article on my town was published in the Lifestyle magazine, under Destinations segment on 21st February 2021. While the pictures and the article overall were very enticing but there was some information that had factual errors. Firstly, your Kodagu article mentions only about various Hotels which the visitors can book, however for past 1-year homestays are a popular choice. Homestays are far better ways to experience the people, cuisine, and culture of Kodagu. Secondly, you mentioned Nagahole Tiger reserve to be the only place to visit whereas there are other places like Dubare Elephant camp (40 km from Kodagu) and Kambini river rafting (80 km from Kodagu). These corrections will attract more people to Kodagu, as people depend on tourism as a source of income. Thank you, and I hope to see a printed correction on Kodagu in your next issue.
