Dear Sir, I am writing this letter to seek your assistance to alleviate the issue I encountered while working at home. The laptop provided by the company for official purpose has been breakdown due to excessive utilization during this pandemic. The charger has choked and some keys from the keyboard are not operational. The bosses provided me an additional responsibility of accomplishing the tasks. On the contrary, due to this problem, I am unable to fulfill my professional obligations and tasks allocated by the seniors. Moreover, the online meeting has been scheduled next week, where I have to deliver the presentation and I do not have any source for preparation. The laptop is in warranty and I have already informed the IT department to mitigate the issue as soon as possible.
