Dear Doppuku,
Hope you are doing well.
I understand that you want some feedback related to the course that I chose to study in Singapore Maritime Academy (SMA).
The name of the course is Graduate Marine Engineering (GME). Duration is one year and the fees will be around 15000 Singapore dollars. It’s a full-time course. Timing of the classes during weekdays is from 9: 00 am to 3: 00 pm, no classes on weekends.
SMA is one of the maritime universities with modern infrastructures, state-of-art laboratories, workshop with practical coaching facilities. Highlighting feature is they provide real time on-the-job training. Last year, survey of college ranking associations awarded Asia’s top ranking for this institute.
Intake starts form April, however application process starts from February itself. To avoid any unforeseen circumstances or delay, my suggestion to you is to initiate preparation as early as possible.
Following are the things you require to prepare in advance:
a) Application form which you can find on Academy’s website.
b) You will be required to submit a reference letter from previous college.
c) A letter of intention which details your suitability for this course.
d) Last but not least, application fees of S$ 187.
I am confident enough that for your profile you will be able to get admission in to this maritime course.
Yours lovingly,
Elango
