I am writing this letter to intimate and register a claim for the loss of my baggage while returning from Mumbai in the last week. Before, I began my journey from Delhi to Mumbai, I had taken a travel insurance from your company through the HDFC Bank with whom you have an ongoing partnership since 2005. I had opted a travel insurance from your company because of the best services and immediate claim settlement.
I had visited to Mumbai for my business trip and I had few valuable item for which I had taken an insurance such as Laptop, Projector, Ipad, and my personal mobile. While leaving from the hotel I had kept my luggage in the Taxi. However, on the way there was sudden breakdown in Taxi and while changing the Taxi, driver had shifted the luggage to new taxi. When I reached to an airport, I realised my loss of luggage and immediately I had reported to the Police and got the FIR filed.
My company is paying a regular premium to your company from the last 5 years. I am seeking a claim of about loss of my luggage. Herewith, I am attaching the invoice copy of all the loss items which was in the baggage and company account details.
I would be grateful if you can immediately process the claim and let me know if you need further clarification which is obstructing the settlement process.
