Dear Helen, My name is Alexey. I am Maria’s cousin. I am planning to visit Rome this winter, so I was very excited when Maria told me that she has a friend living there. I hope you don’t mind that Maria gave me your email. It would be very kind of you, if you would answer a few questions about Rome. I’ve been planning my trip to Rome for many years. And finally, I can afford this journey. I’ve been keen on Ancient civilizations, and particularly the Roman Empire, since I was a child. And I’m very excited that I will see all these masterpieces of architecture. Particularly the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish steps and so on.
