Dear Mr. John, I am writing in regards to the complain recently received from you about the noise from my flat. The noise was due to a friend’s farewell party arranged in my room. I am really sorry about that, and in the future, I will be careful not to make noises. I had arranged a farewell party for a close friend as he is leaving the country. Many of my friends were gathered in my room and enjoying food with loud music. Some friends were also shouting and laughing loudly. I would like to apologise for the trouble. It was a mistake, and I did not mean to cause distress. Since it was my room, I consider myself to be responsible for the problem. I can assure you that such an incident will never happen again in the future. If ever an event is arranged in my flat, the music will be played at a low volume.
