I am writing this letter to register my lost valuables on 19th April at Beijing airport and request to apply for the claim of the lost property which was covered under your company’s travel insurance policy. My reported case ID at your call centre is RDF34749.
Unfortunately, this incident occurred, when I boarded the connecting flight from the Beijing airport on the Saturday night around local time 9: 00 pm to fly to back my home country Australia. I lost my laptop bag which had some other precious belongings, including laptop, earphones and my smart watch.
During the chaos of the crowd and confusion, due to sudden changes in Jetstar airlines schedule, I lost a track to keep an account of my luggage within the waiting area. As far as, I remember, it was immediately informed to the ground staff, but it was too late. Nobody could do anything for the mishap.
Therefore, I would like to put up a claim for the aforementioned items covered in travel insurance. If you want any other details regarding my flight and tickets, please do let me know. Kindly, look into the matter on urgent basis.
