Hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to you regarding the closing of leisure center in Anna locality.

Dear council member, Hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to you regarding the closing of leisure center in Anna locality. At first, I would like to highlight that, I have lived in this locality for a very long time. I have to work for the most part of my day to provide for the family, So for the most part of the time I am not present with my family. After finishing our dinner me and my kids go to this recreational center every day. This helps us in bonding with my kids and also increases their confidence in carom. Me and my daughter Sara visit the recreational center to play carom every day. She has become very good at it. She had also won some school level completion in carom and hope to compete at national level one day. The people in this place previously had lot many problems in their life economically. We don’t have sufficient money to have a sustainable life. However, at times like these all the people gather around the local leisure center. This leisure center brings peace in the community. After the inauguration of the local leisure center the mental stress rate of this community has decreased drastically. People develop their skills so much from their childhood days that we ourselves have few players that have played at the national level. If we close the recreational center it will affect the kids more. The digital native generation kids always tend to stay glued to the screens all day. This has also caused lot many kids to wear glasses. Since we have a recreational center the kids visit it to play games and cool off the work load from school. These kids also find many friends from the recreational center which sometimes become lifelong bonding. In conclusion, it will affects our society in a negative manner if we close the recreational center hence I request you not to close the recreational center.
