Dear Mr. Smith, I am writing this letter to complain about the challenges that I am experiencing with my roommate which are affecting my study. My name is James Proud, a full-time first year marketing student at Jude University, from Nigeria. At presently, I stay at the hall of residence: Room 14C. While I was making arrangements for an accommodation, I applied for a single room given that I prefer to live alone. Unfortunately, it was not available, consequently, I had to settle for a shared room. However, my roommate's erratic behaviours are having detrimental effect on my studies. He always party with his friends in our room and hardly observe the mandatory 11 p. m. lights out. Also, he comes back late at night thereby interrupting my sleep. All these have made it extremely difficult for me to study my books. Therefore, as a solution, I would suggest you call him to order or refund me the remainder of my accommodation fee. I look forward to hearing from you soonest. Yours sincerely, James Proud.
