Dear Sir or Madam,
First of all, let me introduce myself, I am Gankhuyag Bolor-Erdene, I work at the Erdmin Urguu Secondary School as a school psychologist. Having received basic knowledge of general psychology at the Ural Federal University, the Ural Humanitarian Institute in Russia. I am currently applying for a Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship for the 2022/23 academic year in order to gain more in-depth professional knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of psychology.
Ural Federal University would give me the maximum opportunity to help myself and other people. Living and studying in different countries opened my eyes to many differences and similarities in human behavior and broadened my horizons. From living in Mongolia to moving to Russia, a completely different environment and having to live away from my family to be able to complete my studies, I had to quickly learn to adapt, become independent and rely on myself. All this allowed me to meet and communicate with people from all over the world, developing compassion, understanding, empathy, open-mindedness and thinking without judgment.
While studying at the university, I did an internship at school, it was a great experience for me. Upon graduation, I sought to apply my theoretical skills and, consequently, was involved in several research projects. One of the projects first allocated by the Ministry of Education and Science in the 2021-2022 academic year was the employment of psychologists in secondary schools. As part of the project, he worked as a psychologist in high school for a year after graduating from a master class in pedagogical psychology. Thanks to one of the research projects I participated in, I wanted to learn more about psychology and decided to apply for a master's degree. I believe that further study in the master's program, on the one hand, will strengthen and deepen my knowledge and experience, and on the other hand, will give me certain knowledge and skills necessary for the development of the branch of psychological sciences in Mongolia.
I chose Hungary to study because it has a long and widely recognized tradition of higher education and good opportunities for research in the field of psychology. I don't necessarily expect to achieve full mastery in the two years I spend in the master's program, but I believe Hungary is the place where I will have the best opportunity to advance in these fields. To expand even further, an open curriculum would allow me to surround myself with people who are as passionate about psychologists and sciences as I am. Visiting Hungary will bring me all these things that will help me become the best psychologist I can be.
I sincerely believe that the psychology course at the University of Pec is ideal for my future career, and if I am accepted, I will do my best to become a worthy student of the University of Pec.
Thank you for your time and attention.
