Dear Mark, Thank you very much for your invitation. It’s a really generous offer to put me up at your place in Canada for New Year’s Eve. I know how much that means to you and both of us were counting the days to have a reunion and spend some quality time together but unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it due to some problems that came up suddenly at work. I’m still working on the opening of my new café, but the workers had given me hard time. They were supposed to deliver their work a month ago, but the lack of workers and the shortage in material supply have caused the work to delay.
