Thank you for responding. I've been working on an Alzheimer's disease research project for a time now. I have written all of my research papers in English concerning Alzheimer's illness, as you are know, writing papers is required at our school due to T21C. In addition, I am continuing my research at Sabancı University Mustafaolu Laboratory. I'm currently working on a study regarding the amyloid hypothesis and neuroplasticity. As I continue my study, I observe that society is completely unaware of cognitive disorders. My teachers also use the expression "Unutuyorum, yaşlılıktan herhalde, normaldir. " I've searched for awareness-raising programs in our country, but grievously there aren't any. Is it feasible to develop a curriculum or education for high school students to learn about Alzheimer's disease? Perhaps we might make contact with the Turkish Alzheimer's Association and try to put our project into action. Although the field has been divided on whether forgetfulness is related with aging or not, my understanding and current research on neuroplasticty indicate that it is not connected to aging. If the project goes well, we may be able to enter it in contests or present it. Although I'm not sure whether it will fit into the "write a research paper" format? Can I work on this topic? It could be great to have an online meeting before school starts.
