High school and university time are all precious periods which students almost experienced. Although high school life and university one have some differences, they seem alike in some ways. There are some reasons why both of them have similarities. Firstly, when starting high school or college, students are assigned the large of amount of homework. In high school, teachers usually assign homework of many subjects to learners and they have to finish in limited time. University students need enroll in various modules and each module also has plenty of assignments. Instead of handing in homework, they must upload on Google classroom on deadlines. Secondly, parental guide is one of similar reasons whether students go to high school or university. In high school, their parents take care of them by waking them up every morning, taking to school and cooking meals. After entering college, they are still by side to encourage them. Though undergraduate are apart from their parents, parents give supports in case they have difficulties. Despite their similarities, high school life and university life are also different in some ways. First, relationships in high school differ the ones at college. Most students usually come the same town, same background, so making friends with others becomes more easier. They also keep in touch with their friends who were familiar to them before. However, people who study in college usually come from different places, so getting acquainted with new friends is harder. Second, life at university is more independent than life in high school. Students in high school have a tendency to rely on others, so they often spend most of time studying and relaxing. Therefore, undergraduate do not need be independent. However, as university students, they start taking part-time jobs to gain more understanding. They also need learn to complete work themselves, be independent for their future career. In conclusion, high school life and university life have similarities though the two lives differ in some ways. College life makes students more independent to overcome life’s challenges while high school students almost lean on others.
