being familly physician is a challenging job to what extent do you agree qV0g5
Dear program director I am writing in strong support of Dr. Parisa Shabani’s application to the MLPIMG program to become a family physician in Manitoba. I know Parisa since we worked together for about 7 years in Emam Sajad Clinic in Vavan, near Tehran, Iran. As a family physician with more than 18 years of experience, I consider her to be in the top 5% of physicians with whom I have worked throughout my career. In the clinic, Dr. Shabani worked independently and visited patients from different age groups. She performed routine office care managing for both acute and chronic conditions. Her responsibilities included taking medical history and performing physical exam, ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting them, and prescribing medications. She also counseled patients on diet, smoke cessation and preventive health care, and requested screening tests. Parisa is a very kind and respectful doctor who really cares about her patients. Her patients loved her and it was difficult for them to replace her with another physician after she left the Clinic to immigrate to Canada. Dr. Shabani has extensive experience as a family physician. She is adept in physical evaluations, work up plans and management of various cases. Her job experience has provided her well-rounded skill sets including: • Carefully analyzing information working down the list of differential diagnoses • Clearly communicating with patients about management plan and treatment options • Strictly maintaining confidentiality of patients, their families as well as colleagues • Maintaining accurate medical documentation She also has a natural sense of leadership and knows how to partner with other health care providers to assess the situation and coordinate activities to optimize patient care and improve the health care standards. She has a curious and caring personality and is committed to continuously updating her medical knowledge and skills. During our work together, she frequently took active parts in self-directed learning opportunities and participated in continuing professional development programs. Dr. Shabani is a bright and self-motivated professional. I am confident that she will be a tremendous addition to your department and can make you proud to have her on your team. I give her my full support and highest recommendation. If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely.
