ask a permission to leave the class

Dear Mr Johnson, I am writing this letter regards to my next university assignment which will be in July. My name is Attila and I am one of your final year economy class students. Unfortunately, I am will not be available at the time when the assessment is going to take place, due to the fact, I will be on holiday with my family in Australia. We are going to visit my uncle who is going to be married in Canberra. The trip has been booked many months ago and I do not have a chance to postpone it. As you know, I am one of the best students in your class and I have always been Taken part in every school science project. Also, I am the team leader of the university science club which is going to be part of next year competition. On this occasion, however, I would like to request a 2 -week extension on the submission date. If you could grant me that, I can assure you my work will be done.
