Dear Sir, I am writing to you in reference requesting for an internal movement to a different department within the organization. Let me explain in detail. As you are aware that I have been associated with Project Management department for three years. However, recently I have completed post-graduation diploma in sales and marketing from IMT University thus I believe it is the right time to change my role and responsibilities. Since my recently acquired educational qualification, domain knowledge and my personal interest lies with the sales, therefore, I would prefer to move to the sales department. Additionally, I believe that I would be able to use my skills and knowledge for the generating and increasing the overall revenue and profitability of the company moreover I am also aware of the existing process and workflows which will make this transition easier for the new role.
